1. Accepting these terms
These terms are an agreement between you and prefrontal systems S de R L de CV ("we", "us"). By downloading or using Lunu you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. What Lunu is
Lunu is an app for listening to audio for rest, focus and relaxation. Some content is free and some requires a Premium subscription.
3. Your account
Some features require an account, which you can create with Sign in with Apple or with a sign-in link sent to your email. Accounts are personal — keep access to your email or Apple ID secure, because anyone with it can sign in as you.
You can delete your account at any time; see the account deletion page. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or attempt to circumvent payment.
4. Premium subscriptions
This section describes how billing works. Please read it before subscribing.
Plans and prices
Premium is offered as a monthly plan at $4.99 USD, a six-month plan at $24.99 USD and an annual plan at $44.99 USD. The price shown in the app is the one that applies to you: your local currency and any taxes may differ, and the App Store always shows the exact amount before you confirm.
Free trial
New subscribers get one month free. The trial is available once across all Lunu plans — not once per plan — so if you have already used it, switching to a different plan will not give you another. If you subscribe while a trial is still running, the remaining free period is forfeited.
Auto-renewal
Subscriptions renew automatically. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, and again at each renewal unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours of the end of the period.
How to cancel
Manage or cancel your subscription in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your device. The app's "Manage Subscription" button takes you to that same screen.
We cannot cancel a subscription for you, and the app deliberately does not offer to: Apple does not permit apps to cancel subscriptions themselves. Deleting the app does not cancel it either.
Refunds
Purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple and not by us. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Restoring a purchase
If you reinstall the app or use a new device, use Restore Purchases in the app to recover an active subscription bought with the same Apple ID.
Price changes
If we change the price of a plan, Apple will notify you and, where required, ask for your consent before the next renewal. If you do not consent, the subscription will not renew.
Deleting your account does not cancel billing
Your subscription belongs to your Apple ID, not to your Lunu account. If you delete your Lunu account without cancelling, Apple will keep charging you. Cancel first.
5. How you may use the content
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to stream and listen to Lunu content for your own non-commercial use. You may not copy, re-record, redistribute, sell, or play the content publicly, and you may not attempt to extract the audio files.
6. Offline downloads
Premium lets you download tracks for offline listening. Downloaded files stay on your device and remain licensed, not owned: they are for use inside Lunu, and they are removed when you delete the app or turn offline mode off.
7. What you create
Playlists you build and feedback you send remain yours. You give us permission to store and process them so we can operate the service, and to use feedback to improve the app.
8. Lunu is not medical care
Lunu is for relaxation and wellbeing. It is not a medical device and it does not diagnose or treat insomnia, anxiety or any other condition. Nothing in the app is medical advice. If you have a health concern, speak to a qualified professional.
Do not use Lunu while driving or doing anything else that needs your attention.
9. Availability
We aim to keep Lunu running but cannot promise it will always be available or uninterrupted. Content may be added or removed over time, and features may change.
10. Ending this agreement
You may stop using Lunu at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or end access if these terms are breached. Provisions that by their nature should survive — such as the licence limits and the disclaimers below — continue to apply.
11. Disclaimers and liability
Lunu is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your rights as a consumer.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Mexico. If you use Lunu as a consumer elsewhere, the mandatory consumer protections of your country of residence still apply to you.
13. Apple
Apple is not a party to these terms and is not responsible for Lunu or its content. However, Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms and may enforce them against you. Your use of the app must also comply with the App Store Terms of Service.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. The "last updated" date above always reflects the current version, and we will flag significant changes in the app.
